masters of exile is an interdisciplinary poetry project by Nicola Caroli with poets and artists to the subject of home and exile in wortwedding – space for poetry projects. From March 2012 – Dez 2015 one year will be dedicated to a living poet, a master of home/exile in wortwedding.

The call is for artists who want to discover another medium, in this case poetry, in relation to their own medium. The call is open for interdisciplinary/interactive projects of kinds, especially for the disciplines installation, assemblage, sculpture, audioart and performance. (The use of expensive technology is not possible in wortwedding because of break-ins.) The work process should take place in wortwedding. There will be support with approaching the poetry from experts in the field. wortwedding is available for the artists as a working and an exhibition space (not living space) for a minimum of a one month residency.

For each artist there is a budget of 1000 Euro planned.
